SC-300 Series info
Smooth-Cast 300 series are ultra-low viscosity, brightwhite casting resins with various potlife and demold time. Vacuum degassing is not necessary. They offer the convenience of a one to one mix ratio (one part A to one part B by volume). Applications include reproducing small to medium size sculptures, cold cast bronze castings, making prototype models, roto cast pieces, special effect props and decorative jewelry.
Smooth-Cast 300Q - 4-5 minute demold time
Smooth-Cast 300 - 10 minute demold time
Smooth-Cast 305 - 30 minute demold time
Smooth-Cast 310 - 2-4 hour demold time
Note that the quick curing resins are only suitable for smaller castings and not big masses. The slow curing resins are suitable for larger castings and generally not for smaller sizes. look at the technical Bulletins for more information.
