Silicone Art Materials
Tom McLaughlin's excellent silicone pigments and accesories to pigment and paint any silicone surfaces - both tin and platinum. Vivid, silicone-safe pigments. No sulfur, no cadmium. Just about any color shade can be mixed with these pigments. All pigments are in the 'top rung' of permanence as far as 'synthetic' colors are concerned.
Mixing Info: SAM Silicone Colors have been formulated so 1% by weight (1 part color to 100 parts silicone -or- 1 small squirt to 1/2 cup silicone by volume) will give a good representation of that color in translucent silicone. For full color saturation use up to 5%, although 3% will probably be all you will ever need. Use 0.5% or less for translucent effects. For painting use up to 5% mixed into translucent silicone rubber, paint base or adhesive / caulking for general coloration, up to to 10% for intense opaque detail. Thin to proper consistency with appropriate solvent.
